The Department of Communication Science is committed to advancing knowledge, research, and professional skills in media, communication, and related fields. Through academic programmes, practical training, and community engagement, we:
- Deliver high-quality education that integrates theory and practice.
- Promote ethical and responsible communication in media and society.
- Equip students with skills in digital media, broadcasting, and strategic communication.
- Support innovative research in communication, technology, and social development.
- Provide professional training through the Drone Flight School, Abiyangu 97.1 FM Radio, IELTS Section, and ADEC Outreach Programmes.
- Spearhead interdisciplinary research and capacity-building initiatives under the UNESCO Chair: Communication for Sustainable Development (Communication 4SD), fostering knowledge-sharing, policy advocacy, and inclusive communication for global and local impact.
