Advancement and Public Affairs

Advancement and Public Affairs is a department under the Vice Chancellor’s Office mandated with spearheading the University’s resource mobilisation, public affairs, marketing, and alumni relations initiatives. The department is the institution’s communications hub and provides leadership in creating mutually beneficial collaborations with important stakeholders such as the government and its related institutions, business community, development agencies, University staff, students and the alumni. The department provides oversight on general events management, reputation building, brand promotion, media liaison, international relations, as well as on protocol management at important events such as the University’s annual graduation ceremonies.
