The Centre for Combating Human Trafficking at Bindura University of Science Education is a unit established at Bindura University that brings together three institutions BUSE, WUA and UON. This unit rides on the current unit established at BUSE and morphs out of the research collaboration between Bindura University WUA and Nottingham University under the research grant GCRF NGO Secondary Data Analysis 2019 Award 2019 Combating Human Trafficking in Zimbabwe: The role of NGOs in the fight against Human Trafficking in Zimbabwe (RIS CONTRACT REF 3235114 / RIS PROJECT REF 2521854). This unit hopes to build on the current work being done under the project. . The Unit is under the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities and is dedicated to addressing systemic issues of humanitarianism and justice that create the breeding grounds for human trafficking that take different forms including labour and sex trafficking. This is premised on the realisation that cases of human trafficking in Zimbabwe have been on the ascendancy in recent years with the major highlight being the Kuwait issue.
- Safe Migration Campaigns
This is a national public awareness campaign aimed at educating the Zimbabwean public, law enforcement and other partners to identify and recognise the indicators of human trafficking and how to respond appropriately
2. Training
The Centre provides general awareness training (web training course) to law enforcement officials on recognizing human trafficking and responding appropriately. One can engage with us online on social media through face book, twitter and Instagram-Ask followers to retweet.

The Centre develops and shares resources on human trafficking:-

- Stop Human Trafficking-Hospitality Industry.
4. Research and Publications.
The Centre embarks on empirical research on human trafficking and Zimbabwe and beyond to impact policy and practice.
