1.1 All new students must bring Proof of payment of fees, the Offer Letter, Original Birth Certificate, relevant Academic Certificates including Ordinary and Advanced level and certified copies of the same, National Identity Card and two passport size photographs.

3.0 ACCOMMODATION – FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS ONLY
3.1 Students who wish to be considered for on campus accommodation should contact the University’s Students Affairs Department, Mrs. A Sajiwa the Full Time Warden on +263 772 772 464 or email asajiwa@buse.ac.zw before making any payments.
3.2 Accommodation is limited and shall be allocated on a first-come/apply, first serve basis. All New Students should check in by 1600 hours latest on 29 January 2023.
3.3 Students shall be accommodated taking into consideration the proximity of the hostels or boarding houses to their learning venues given the multi- campus nature of the University.
3.4 Students who fail to secure University accommodation will be assisted to secure appropriate alternative off campus accommodation. Please contact Mr FMT Zanza the Coordinator, Off Campus Life on +263777775336 before making any payment.
4.0 RETURNING STUDENTS
4.1 All returning students are reminded that the Academic Calendar remains as published before and that registration starts immediately after publication of results. Lectures start on 6 February 2023.
4.2 The late registration penalty is ZW$1000 per day inclusive of weekends up to a maximum of thirty (30) days. After 15 February 2023 no registration requests shall be entertained. This deadline also applies to students on industrial attachment.
5.0 HEALTH AND SAFETY FOR ALL STUDENTS, STAFF AND STAKEHOLDERS
5.1 The safety and health of our students and staff remains a top priority for the University. The University will operate under the prescribed COVID-19 pandemic regulations to ensure the safety of students, staff and other stakeholders.
5.2 Each student must bring enough face masks to last a semester i.e. at least a box of 50 disposable face masks or any appropriate alternative.
5.3 Students, Staff and stakeholders are encouraged to be vaccinated and produce proof of vaccination. Where medical conditions preclude vaccination, Students,Staff and stakeholders are encouraged to get Exemption Certificates from qualified medical practitioners.
5.4 Students, Staff and stakeholders are encouraged to continue practicing good hygiene, washing hands frequently with soap for at least twenty (20) seconds and practicing social distancing.
5.5 Students and staff should minimize printing and exchange of hard copy documents Both students and staff must use and embrace virtual and digital platforms for communication.
5.6 All students should remain vigilant and strictly adhere to COVID-19 protocols as stipulated by the World Health Organizations (WHO) and guidelines set by the Ministry of Health and Child Care to combat the COVID-19 virus.
