The Diploma in Science Education-Sciences (DipScEd-Sc) seeks to develop competences in students to produce high quality work in sciences and combined science teaching across all secondary school levels. The students are capacitated to align their teaching and learning to STEM related subjects for socio-economic development of Zimbabwe and beyond. Competences to adapt to trends and research driven practices in Science education are developed in this programme.
To be eligible for admission, a candidate must:
- Normal entry: have passed five ‘O’ Levels including English Language, Mathematics and a science subject with biology, physics and chemistry components.
- Special Entry: A relevant Diploma or certificate
