Profile

Cyprian Muchemwa is a holder of a PhD in Peacebuilding from Durban University of Technology in South Africa, Master of Arts Degree in Modern African History and a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in History from University of Zimbabwe. He is motivated by exploring the challenges that characterise post-violent conflict-recovering societies. He is also a firm believer in nonviolence and dialogue and his research interests explore the dynamics of post-violent conflict-recovering countries with a focus on youth violence, reconciliation, transitional justice, and conflict prevention through the setting up of early warning systems.
