Members of the BUSE Sports Academy and Sports Science Department went on a talent hunting spree at the NASH Copa Coca Cola Final games held from the 22nd to the 24th of July 2016 in Gwanda.
Twenty-one potential talentees from 7 schools that participated in the games were identified by the BUSE team that comprised of Dr Perez, lecturer in the Sports Science Department and Mr Hombarume, a member of staff in the National Sports Academy.
According to Mr Hombarume, the level of talent exhibited at this year’s games was exceptionally and they were therefore confident of getting players of high caliber from the pool of talent.
The NASH Copa Coca Cola U16 Boys and U17 Girls began in 1989, and 24 schools participated at this year’s edition which was won by Rujeko and Chidyamakono high schools in the boys and girls competitions respectively.
