Vice Chancellor Prof. Eddie Mwenje congratulated the newly elected executive committee.

“As a University we are always looking to interact with our students beyond graduation. Previously there was no proper structure to coordinate this but I am glad that the association is now fully constituted and is organizing itself,” Said Prof. Mwenje.

“We look forward to running programmes with the Alumni Association and also seeing the Association induct graduates during our graduation ceremonies.”

The Association affirmed its dedication and commitment to growing the BUSE brand and assisting the Institution in all its endeavours.

“We have always desired to formalize the Alumni association and we are delighted that we have now concluded the process. We would like to say to the University that we are here and what can we do to help,” said Ms Gadzirayi.

She added, “We will be presenting our strategic plan soon and we hope to partner with the University in several programmes and projects. One of the areas in which we hope to make an impact is student mentorship. With our alumni network scattered across the world, we believe current students can immensely benefit from our experiences and expertise.”

A new chapter of endless possibilities has commenced between BUSE and its alumni.
