Advancement of knowledge, the diffusion and extension of science and education, the preservation, dissemination and enhancement of knowledge that is relevant for the development of the people of Zimbabwe through teaching and research and, so far as is consistent with the objectives, the nurturing of the intellectual, aesthetic, social and moral growth of the students at the University.
Normal Entry: at least five ordinary level subjects including English Language, Physical Science or Physics and Mathematics with grade C or better. Two (2) Advanced level passes in Mathematics and Physics and a third science subject as follows: Biology, Geography, Chemistry and Technical Graphics.
Special Entry: Higher National Diploma Electronic Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, Control & Instrumentation or any other HEXCO.
