The 2nd International Business, Governance and Accounting Conference(IBGAC2) Report

INTRODUCTION

The report covers the proceedings of the 2nd International Business, Governance and Accounting Conference which was held in partnership with the Chartered Governance and Accounting Institute in Zimbabwe (CGAIZ). The conference was held from 23-25 July 2025 at Montclair Hotel and Casino in Nyanga under the theme “Revitalising Industries: Driving Innovation for a Sustainable Future”.

The report covers the following aspects: a) Programme, b) Registration c) Food and Accommodation d) Conference Paraphernalia e) Sponsorships f)Presenters, Speakers and Publications and g) Income and Expenditure.

  1. PROGRAMME

The conference programme commenced on 23 July at 2.00pm, delegates checked in on the morning of the 23rd.  The conference was officially opened on the 24th of July by Mr Kupukani Masunungure, standing in for the Honorable Minister Nqobizitha Mangaliso Ndhlovu, Minister of Industry and Commerce.   1. REGISTRATION

The Conference was attended by a total of 52 individuals who comprised of secretariat, speakers, presenters, sponsors, delegates and media personnel. Upon registration, guests were given lanyards with name tags.  The conference attendees are listed below:
