Tanzanian Ambassador, His Excellency Professor Emmanuel D Mbennah has described the innovations and artificial intelligence exhibited by Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE)as ‘great innovations which provide solutions to real life challenges affecting people’.
Ambassador Prof.Mbennah was charmed by the innovations that he even asked to be part of the commissioning of the Innovation Hub during his tour of the BUSE exhibition stand at the just ended Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF).
“I commend Bindura University for the great innovations, that will provide solutions to people’s real needs,” said Professor Mbennah.
Of particular interest to the Ambassador was the Smart Connect prototype which centralises control of gadgets and other electronic devices to a users’ mobile phone.
The innovation inspired conversation about possible Memorandum of Understandings with Tanzanian Universities on students exchange programmes and mutual corporation in technology development.

Professor Mbennah’s comments come at a time the University is in the process of implementing Education 5.0 which seeks to utilize innovations to solve the country’s problems.
BUSE has managed to embrace the philosophy through the launching of applications namely Smart Connect, Smart City and Smart House designed to assist communities.
