Quality Assurance Policy Statement

We seek to develop the University into a hub of excellence through cultivating a quality culture in all our activities in order to produce competent and universally employable graduates. 

Functions of a Quality Assurance Department at a University

  1. Program Evaluation: Assessing academic programs and departments to ensure they meet established standards and outcomes.
  2. Accreditation Management: Facilitating and managing the accreditation process to maintain compliance with institutional and programmatic standards.
  3. Quality Improvement: Implementing strategies for continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and administrative processes.
  4. Policy Development: Developing and updating policies related to quality assurance and academic standards.
  5. Data Collection and Analysis: Gathering and analysing data related to student performance, faculty evaluations, and overall institutional effectiveness.
  6. Training and Support: Providing training and resources for faculty and staff to enhance quality teaching and learning practices.
  7. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with students, faculty, and administrative staff to gather feedback and foster a culture of quality.
  8. Reporting and Feedback: Preparing reports on quality assurance activities and outcomes and providing feedback for improvement initiatives.
