Department of Crop Science
Applicants must have a Master of Science Degree in Crop Science and PhD in Crop Science or equivalent from a recognised institution or equivalent from recognised institutions. Prospective candidates should have proven track records of research publications in refereed journals of international recognition.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate shall be expected to teach at least three of the following courses: Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Insect Pest Management, Plant Breeding; Plant Biology, Weed management.
The candidate shall be expected to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate Research and Product Development Projects, carry out research individually and in clusters; and apply for external research grants.
