Applicants should hold a Master’s or PhD degree in Linguistics: Communication Skills.
Applicants must have a minimum of two (2) years teaching experience in a tertiary institution, proven record of publications and ability to mobilise funds is an added advantage.
Applicants should be able to teach at least four (4) courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level to both conventional and block students. Department reserves the right to allocate courses for teaching.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide academic leadership to Department, initiate, guide and contribute basic and applied research in the Department. Successful applicants must be able to supervise both undergraduate and postgraduate students in their field of collaborative research and be involved in the University services and community engagement.
