The applicant must have the following qualifications: 5 ‘O’ Level subjects including English Language, Science and Mathematics, BSc in a Nursing degree with at least a 2.1 class attained within the last 2 years.
The candidate must have at least 2 years post qualification experience working in a hospital or tertiary institution. Teaching experience at a tertiary institution is an added advantage. The candidate should be registered with the Nurses Council of Zimbabwe and must have a current Practising Certificate.
Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate should be able to: conduct clinical follow up of students; carry out tutorials for courses offered in the Department; marking of assignments and examinations; organising and participating in Departmental extension services; maintenance of teaching laboratories (simulated ward); carry out research.
