Plumbing Assistant (1)

The Plumbing Assistant is responsible for assisting Plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in the University sites. Under the direction of a Plumber, install pipes, replace faucets, unclog toilets, install garbage disposals, and adjust water pressure.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess at least 3 Ordinary level passes and five plus years as a Plumbing Assistant in a reputable company.

The candidate must be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

Duties and Responsibilities

The duties shall include:

  • Provide support and assistance to one or more skilled plumbers;
  • Assisting the plumber including site preparation and clearance, and maintaining general site tidiness and assisting as directed by the plumber;
  • Assisting with installations, inspections, diagnosing problems /faults /leaks, testing, repair and maintenance of pipes, fixtures and other water and plumbing systems used anywhere for water distribution and waste disposal and
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Superiors
