The University would like to inform all students that following the recent spike in COVID-19 cases the following measures have been put in place:
- All Postgraduate examinations which were scheduled to begin on 29 July 2020 in Harare have been postponed to a date to be advised.
- Part One Students who were supposed to report for lectures on Monday 27 July 2020 must not travel to the University but instead contact their Departments/Lecturers in order to continue learning online from where they are. The new dates for their examinations will be advised in due course.
- Part Two students in the Faculties of Science Education, Science and Engineering, Agriculture and Environmental Science should continue with their scheduled examinations which will be written over a shorter period than earlier planned. Students are advised to check the new timetable on the University Website.
- With the current increase in COVID-19 cases countrywide, staff and students are advised to exercise due care and avoid unnecessary travel and mingling which may endanger their lives, fellow students, workmates and family members. One must always wear a face mask, practice social distancing, sanitize hands and work environment. Washing of hands with soapy running water should be a habit.
