Normal Entry:
Candidates must satisfy the Entry Regulations specified in the General Regulations and must also meet the following requirement:
Have 5 ‘O’ Level passes including Mathematics, Physical Science and English Language, passed with at least a grade C. Have obtained at least two passes at A Level or their recognized equivalents: one in Mathematics and the other from any of A’ Level Chemistry/Physics; Number of points at ‘A’ level are decided from time to time.
Special Entry: In accordance with the General Regulations. Higher National Diploma in Mining, Higher National Diploma in Metallurgical Assay, Higher National Diploma in Mine Ventilation & Environmental Engineering, Higher National Diploma in Mining, Higher National Diploma in Mine Survey, Higher National Diploma in Mine Geology, Higher National Diploma in Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy from the Zimbabwe School of Mines or Geoscience related fields from an accredited institution plus at least 2 years post qualification experience. Those with qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical engineering may be accepted subject to interviews.
Mature Entry: In accordance with the General Regulations. At least 25 years of age with relevant general qualifications and working experience in the field of Mining or Geosciences. May be subjected to an interview.
