COMPLETED PROJECTS AND MAJOR FINDINGS
- The Communicative Direction of the Audio-oral Activity (Among the findings one of the most important was the proposal of a set of oral exercises to support the teaching of oral communication through the series Spectrum 1 to 5)
- A proposal of Exercises to Support Writing through the Spectrum Series (A group of exercises to foster the writing ability was the most relevant contribution)
- Differentiating Methodology for the Teaching and Learning of Oral Communication in English Departing from the Students´ Socio-professional Profiles (A theoretical model for the teaching of oral communication at language schools, a methodology in order to implement it, as well as a group of oral tasks according to the students’ socio-professional profiles were provided)
- Betterment of the teaching-learning process of English at primary schools and junior high schools in Holguin (An analysis of the teaching model was done , as well as, the proposal of guidelines to follow in the teaching learning process of English at primary schools, together with the video lessons)
- Tasks for the development of English oral communication of the students at the University of Holguin (A booklet with more than 300 tasks for English oral communication of the students in the different university careers was prepared)
CURRENT RESEARCH
The ongoing research work is related to work integrated education in Tertiary Education through a differentiated instruction implementing the tasks-based teaching and considering the students’ learning styles and types of intelligence.
