The programme is intended to impart students with skills to diagnose, analyze and offer sound solutions to economic and social problems associated with the agricultural and natural resource sub-sectors of the economy. It also aims to train students in applied management principles that will assist them in the planning, organizing, leading and controlling agricultural production, financing, marketing and human resources activities in the private and public sectors of the economy.
All applicants have to meet the following minimum requirements for admission prescribed under the general regulations (i.e.):
- Have obtained at least five Ordinary Level subject passes including English Language and Mathematics passed with a grade C or better
- Passes at Advanced Level in at least two subjects as follows:
– Category 1: Any two of the following, Biology, Agriculture, Chemistry, Physics and Food Science.
– Category 2: Either Mathematics, Accounting Economics or Business Studies in addition to any one subject in Category 1.
