DESCRIPTION:  \nTo be written at Schools \nPARTICIPANTS: ALL REGISTERD SECONDARY SCHOOLS OFFERING\nSCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS SUBJECTS \nPREAMBLE\nBindura University of Science Education (BUSE) and the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education are running annual National Science and Mathematics Olympiads with the aim of identifying talented students and encouraging them to take up these subjects and disciplines as they progress in their education career. The subjects on focus are Advanced level and Ordinary level Biology\, Chemistry\, Computer Science\, Mathematics\, Physics and Geography. SUMMARY:2nd Annual Youth\, Peace and Development Student Conference
DESCRIPTION:Salam Foundation Club is a Bindura University of Science Education Club that focuses on issues of peace and research. The club has been operational since 2015. The club will be hosting a Youth\, Peace and Development Student Conference on the 29th of March 2019 under the Theme: “Promoting Peace and Youth Development Through Participation in Policy Formulation and Economic Development”. The event will be held in partnership with the Bindura University of Science Education’s Department of Peace and Governance at Town Campus on the above mentioned date. All students are invited. \nThe conference will help the Zimbabwean youth to identify and use their talents to create sustainable livelihoods for social and economic development as outlined in Agenda 2063 for Africa. The conference will also allow youths from across all universities in Zimbabwe to connect and explore opportunities and make a way forward for collaborations within their universities and beyond as well as to exchange ideas on global developmental issues which are outlined by the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development of the United Nations
