Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of an MSc in Electronic Engineering or Equivalent passed with at least a Merit, with a first degree in Electronic Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field. A PhD is an added advantage. Applicants must have a minimum of two years university teaching experience. Proven record of publications and ability to mobilise funds will be added advantages. The curriculum vitae (CV) should contain detailed list of publications; clearly specifying titles of publications, journal names, volumes, page number details, dates published, name(s) of publishers and name(s) of co-authors if any. Publications should be categorized into: books, monographs, refereed and non-refereed journals, chapters in books, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities
Applicants must be able to teach at least six of the following courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level to both conventional and block students; Electrical Engineering Circuits, Electronic Engineering Workshop, Electrical Measurements, Analogue Electronics, Electronic Engineering Circuits, Software Engineering Concepts, Graphics for Electronic Engineers, Network Theory, Digital Electronics, Microprocessors, Design Project, Electromagnetic Fields & Materials, Electronic Drives, Digital Devices and Systems, Computer Engineering, Digital Signal Processing, Linear Integrated Circuits, Analogue Communications, Software Engineering, Electromagnetic Theory, Embedded Computer Systems, Control Engineering, Digital Communications, Integrated Circuits and Microelectronics, Communication Systems Performance , Computer Architecture and Operating Systems and Modern Control Engineering. The Department reserves the right to allocate courses for teaching. The successful candidate will be expected to provide academic leadership to the Department, initiate, guide and contribute basic and applied research in the Department. Successful applicants must be able to supervise both undergraduate and postgraduate students in their fields of specialization and conduct collaborative research and be involved in university service and community engagement.
