Community Service

  • Worked for three months as a Volunteer at Alpha Cottages Children’s Home in Masvingo urban in 2017
  • Worked as a Part Time clinical social worker Trish Swift and the Ropka Centre for Mothers of Children with Disabilities in Minova, Harare
  • Provided pro borno services to Haval Children’s home in Avondale


Innovation

  • Managed to apply the social development and social innovation principles within Childcare institutions through enhancing skill development, resilience and independence among institutionalised children, especially those leaving care
  • Produced an intensive, well detailed and evidence based report of the Breaking down Barriers to Inclusive Education with Leonard Cheshire Disability Zimbabwe


Industrialisation
Currently networking with state and private Hospitals as well as Non-Governmental Organisations to establish a Social Work Clinic at the University
