Qualifications
Candidates must have a PhD in the relevant discipline or equivalent.

Duties and responsibilities
The candidate should be able to teach any two of the following courses: Logistics in Purchasing and Supply, Supply Chain and Risk Management, Purchasing and Supply Computer Packages, International Purchasing and Material Planning and Production Control. The candidate should also be able to supervise postgraduate research, carry out research individually and in clusters, assess and supervise students on Teaching Practice and carry out extension work.

Candidates must have a PhD in a relevant discipline.

Duties and responsibilities
The candidate should be able to teach the following courses: Statistics for Economists, Mathematics for Economists, Quantitative Methods and Econometrics. The candidate should also be able to supervise postgraduate research, carry out research individually and in clusters, assess and supervise students on Teaching Practice and carry out extension work.

MARKETING DEPARTMENT

Teaching Assistants (2 Posts)

Qualifications
Candidates must have at least a 2.1 in Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Marketing or Bachelor of Business Studies Honours Degree in Marketing.

Duties and Responsibilities
The candidates should be able to assist with tutorials and marking the following courses: Research Methodology, Principles of Marketing 2, Principles of Marketing 1, Information Systems 1, Information Systems 2 and Public Relations.

SPORTS ACADEMY

Administrative Assistant (1 Post)

Qualifications
Applicants must have a minimum of a First Degree in relevant field from a recognized institution, one year of relevant experience and computer literacy are a must.

Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing agendas for Departmental Board and Committee meetings, providing secretariat services to the Departmental Board and Committee meetings, coordinating students selection, admissions, registration for the academy programmes, liaising with key internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis, routine correspondences, monitoring the operation and application of regulations and policies, attending to Human Resources issues, supervising Academic Support staff in the Department, general resource allocation, liaising with the University administration over administrative and student matters, coordinating and organizing seminars, functions and special events, developing and maintaining an effective information management system for the academy including database for identified sport talentees, compilation of reports and any other duties designated by the Director or Deputy Director – Sports Academy.
