1.1.1    Lecturer– Purchasing and Supply(1 Post)
   
 Qualifications
Applicants must be holders of a Masters’ Degree in Commerce or equivalent and have a first degree in Purchasing and Supply or Higher National Diploma in Purchasing and Supply.  A PhD is an added advantage.

Duties and responsibilities
The candidate should be able to teach any two of the following courses: Logistics in Purchasing and Supply, Relationship Management, Legal Aspect in Purchasing and Supply, International Purchasing, Material Planning and Production Control, Supply Chain Risk Management, Strategic Purchasing and Sustainable Procurement.

1.1.2    Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor/Professor - Economics(1 Post)

Qualifications
Candidates must have a PhD in a relevant discipline.  Applicants must be holders of a Master’s Degree in Economics or equivalent, and have a first degree in Economics. 

Duties and responsibilities
The candidate should be able to teach the following courses: Statistics for Economists, Mathematics for Economists, Quantitative Methods and Econometrics. 



1.2    MARKETING DEPARTMENT

1.2.1    Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor/Professor

Qualifications

Applicants must be holders of a PhD in Marketing. 

Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate should be able to teach the following courses: Research Methodology, Social Marketing, Financial Aspects of Marketing, Brand Management and Customer Relationship Management.

 

2.       FACULTY OF COMMERCE

2.1      HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT

2.1.1    PROFESSOR/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (1 Post)

QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be PhD holders in Human Resources Management.  The candidate must have lecturing experience at tertiary institutional level.  The eligible candidate must be able to teach at least any two of the following courses:  Human Resources Management, Compensation, Human Capital, Planning, Recruitment and Selection at Undergraduate level.

2.1.2     FULL TIME LECTURER/SENIOR LECTURER/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
(1 Post)

QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be holders of a Masters Degree in either Economics or Operations Research or its equivalent.  A PhD is an added advantage.  The candidate must have lecturing experience at tertiary institutional level.  The candidate must be able to teach Quantitative Analysis for Business and Production and Operations Management at Undergraduate level.
               
3.          FACULTY OF SCIENCE

3.1        PHYSICS AND MATHEMATICS DEPARTMENT

3.1.1     TEACHING ASSISTANT- MATHEMATICS (1 Post)

QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degrees (Honours) in Applied Mathematics or Mathematics with a 2.1 classification or better.  The Teaching Assistant shall be required to register for a Postgraduate Research Degree (M.Phil) in Mathematics.

1.1.1    Professor/Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer/Lecturer

 Qualifications
Applicants must be holders of a relevant PhD or an MSc Degree in Financial Intelligence, Finance/Business Administration in Finance, Criminology and Risk Management or any other relevant Financial Intelligence and Financial Risk Management related field(s) and at least3 years working experience at a tertiary institution.  Candidates with at least 5 years managerial professional working experience in the areas of Banking, Financial Intelligence, Security and Risk Management will have an added advantage. 

Duties and responsibilities
The candidate should be able to teach any two or more of the following Financial Intelligence Undergraduate courses: Criminology, Criminal Intelligence Analysis, Business Intelligence Analysis, Research Methods (Criminological) and Risk Management.In addition to the teaching of a broad cross-section of courses in Financial Intelligence, appointees will be required to supervise research and student outreach programmes during their industrial attachments/internships.


2.    FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE

2.1        ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE DEPARTMENT

2.1.1    Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/ Associate Professor/Professor– Economics(2 Posts)

Qualifications


Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Environmental Science or related discipline and at least a Masters Degree in Occupational Health and Safety. Certificates in Occupational, Health and Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001) or related courses are an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates should be able to teach at least two of the following courses: Environmental Management System (EMS), Occupational Health and Safety Management, Health and Environmental Auditing, Safety and Health Law, Environmental Epidemiology, and Environmental Acoustics. The successful applicants will be expected to teach and examine both undergraduate and postgraduate courses and supervise student’s research projects. Experience in teaching at a tertiary institution and a PHD are added advantages.
