The Registry Department is the nerve centre of the University administration and ensures that the University functions within the legal framework provided in the Bindura University Act, other state legislations and the laid down statutes and ordinances. The Department provides efficient and effective services that enable the University to fulfill its mandate. It has  various sections responsible for various administrative functions, these are :

The Human Resources Section is responsible for the provision of competent personnel at all levels within the institution. It is also involved with the provision of cost effective service in all areas which include recruitment cycles and utilization of the Human Resources. The Human Resources Section encourages employee retention and seeks to provide competitive renumeration to all members of staff who are actively undertaking and contributing to University activities. The section is committed to enhancing the standard of performance and support the development of BUSE staff such that they will have the skills, knowledge and competences needed to meet the current and future needs of the University. It ensures the provision of a healthy and safe working environment and creating the right social environment to ensure industrial harmony. The Human Resources Section ensures compliance with Government policies and statutory requirements.

The Human Resources Section is responsible for recruitment and selection, payroll administration, staff development and welfare and provision of services to the University and all stakeholders.

All the sections work to ensure that the University maintains and attains world standards in its academic endeavours.
