Librarian – Mrs Audrey Mhlanga

The Librarian, Mrs Audrey Mhlanga completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Modern Languages at the University of Guyana and went on to obtain a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Studies from McGill University.

She has been a practising librarian for the past twenty five years holding progressively higher positions in research/academic libraries namely the National Archives of Zimbabwe, the University of Zimbabwe and currently the Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE).

Mrs Mhlanga is the first University Librarian to be appointed when BUSE received its Charter in the year 2000. Her experience and continual exposure to international library practices have underpinned the steady growth and development of the BUSE Libraries which support the teaching, learning, research and community service activities of the University.
